About the event
The YMCO Vocal Extravaganza opens with the finale of Mozart’s brilliant opera Così fan tutte, in which the faithfulness of two young couples is put to the test. The concert closes with a high-energy medley from the Broadway hit Hairspray, which won eight Tony Awards in 2003. With themes of racial integration, self-acceptance, and social change, it’s a feel-good show you won’t want to miss.
In between, enjoy solo opera arias and songs performed by our outstanding young singers, ages 10 to 17. Your toes will be tappin’ and your hands a clappin’!
