The Young Musicians Choral Orchestra(YMCO) is a leader in the field of youth development, using music as its tool for transforming the lives of low-income students from the Bay Area.  Teaching our musicians how to get along with each other and employ the Golden Rule is best done by learning a difficult piece of music, together.  Each weekly rehearsal brings our students closer together.  The strings, the brass, the winds and percussion all need each other to make a Beethoven Symphony pop!  And when it does……What joy!  What excitement!  This same feeling is transferable to quartets, trios or solos.
